    2013-08-30

On January 15, 2013, Grand Pharma(China) was granted a AAA credit rating on a conference held in Wuhan. In addition, it was also entitled as the Annual Credit-honored Enterprise in Wuhan for its outstanding performance. Chairman Xie Guofan took the opportunity to introduce the experiences in building credit, which received common recognition among the attendees.

As a designated manufacturer of emergency drugs and narcotics for national war reserve, Grand Pharma(China) has been influenced by the 70 years of traditional culture originating from Taihang Mountain, and assumed the special mission of “being a pharmaceutical enterprise for the country’s causes”. With “to build a time-honored pharmaceutical company and repay the public” as its vision, the company has made unremitting efforts to build a small pharmaceutical factory located at the foot of Taihang Mountain into a modernized enterprise, which has made its way into the top 100 companies in Wuhan, top 10 pharmaceutical companies in Hubei and top 100 pharmaceutical companies in the whole country.

Credit and quality play important roles when an enterprise aims at sustainable development. Based on credit, Grand Pharma(China) has regarded quality as its lifeblood. Its annual investment in R&D accounts for over 5% of its sales revenue. In order to provide more and better products, the company inputted a total of RMB 57.38 million in 2012.

Credit helps a company win market shares, while charity offers assistance to needy people. Grand Pharma(China) has played a positive role in education aid, helping the disabled, disaster relief and helping the poor. Additionally, the company has been also engaged in road repairs for villagers in the mountainous region of Taihang, donating drugs and school supplies. Over RMB 30 million has been given out for charity. In order to fulfill the promise of “ensuring drug safety” and strengthen its corporate social responsibility, Grand Pharma(China) joined hands with Hubei Food and Drug Administration in 2011 to initiate the charity program “Store Drugs Properly, Ensure Drug Safety”. A total of 3,094 freezers had been donated to drug sales terminals in large cities across the whole country in 2012. It is such an innovative move and making the company a model in the industry and whole society at large.
