On April 11, Zhuhai Bay Hotel Management Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CGE, and the School of International Tourism and Management at the City University of Macau held the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement. Important figures such as the Vice President of the City University of Macau and heads of the School of International Tourism and Management attended the signing ceremony.

The signing ceremony kicked off with a wonderful promo of the bay story. Zhuhai Bay Hotel Management Co., Ltd. warmly welcomed those from the City University of Macau and introduced its development status. After more than 20 years of accumulation and innovation, the hotel has already achieved five-star hotel management status and built an outstanding operations team. In the process of meeting higher international standards, the CGE people have always strived to make their brand a banner of the hotel industry with the most concentrated attitude. The two sides have built on each other’s strengths to complement each other in resources and achieve common progress.

According to the Vice President of the City University of Macau, it is the first modern university in Macau and its School of International Tourism and Management is the only tourism management school certified by the UN’s TEDQUAL. The “Outline of the Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” and the “Belt & Road” Initiative provide a good platform for the development of Macau. The university has actively seized a new round of development opportunities in Macau’s hotel industry and expresses that they hope the two sides will use co-operation as an opportunity to play their respective advantages, enhance cooperation between universities and companies, and realize a continuous supply of talents.

After the visits and exchanges, the two sides signed the “Internship Program for Grade-Four Students Cooperation Agreement between Zhuhai Bay Hotel and the School of International Tourism and Management at the City University of Macau”.
